Ross 145, 150 and 155 Clubs reflect steady PS performance progress
EDINBURGH, Scotland. – Aviagen® and distributor DanHatch proudly recognize the outstanding achievements of their Ross® 308 Parent Stock (PS) producers in Finland. These dedicated farmers have demonstrated remarkable year-on-year improvement in chick output, securing their esteemed positions in the prestigious Ross 145, 150, and 155 Clubs. These Clubs acknowledge exceptional performance in terms of the number of day-old chicks per hen housed up to 60 weeks of age.
To celebrate and honor these dedicated producers, Aviagen and DanHatch Finland organized an awards ceremony on May 3. The event took place at the historic Kauttua Ironworks in Eura and welcomed all of DanHatch Finland's valued producers. During the ceremony, the winners were presented with Club certificates as well as a token of appreciation.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for engagement and knowledge sharing. Essi Tuomola, Production Manager for DanHatch Finland, delivered a comprehensive overview of the impressive results achieved by the new Club members. Hannu Tiuttu, Sales and Technical Manager for Aviagen SweChick Ab, shared production data from various European countries, highlighting Finland's remarkable performance among leading European breeder growers. Tiuttu also provided an update on the latest animal welfare legislation from the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
Aviagen and DanHatch were delighted to have in attendance Paulina Wahlgren from SweHatch, an important customer of Aviagen SweChick in Sweden. Paulina shared invaluable insights into male management throughout the whole production period.
The event served as a testament to the significant achievements of the Finnish Ross 308 PS producers and demonstrated Aviagen and DanHatch's commitment to fostering excellence in the poultry industry.
