
Strengthening customer success in a fast-growing poultry market
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen®, a global poultry genetics company, has strengthened its Technical Services team in Brazil with the addition of three new customer service specialists: Ivan Fábio Filippini, Mauro César Piotto de Lima, and Almir da Silva Rocha.
Their arrival reflects Aviagen’s ongoing commitment to offer tailored guidance that supports flock performance, bird welfare, and sustainable growth in a flourishing Brazilian poultry sector.
Experience shaped by the field
Ivan Fábio Filippini joins Aviagen as Regional Technical Services Supervisor with a focus on broilers. An agricultural technician with a degree in Animal Science and a postgraduate specialization in Poultry Farming and Egg Production, Ivan brings over 20 years of hands-on experience. He has worked in supervisory and rural extension roles, guiding producers in management, environmental practices, and performance.
“I’ve always believed that success comes from listening to producers and working side by side to find practical solutions,” Ivan explains. “My goal is to help customers achieve better results by adapting advice to their reality on the ground.”
Breeding insight to strengthen operations
Veterinarian Mauro César Piotto de Lima has dedicated his career to production management, poultry health, and genetics. With a master’s degree in Biotechnology with a specialization in Genetics from the State University of Londrina (UEL), he has led breeding farms, hatcheries and feed mills at well-known poultry companies.
“I look forward to putting my experience into practice to support producers,” Mauro shares. “My focus is on helping them reach production excellence while keeping animal welfare at the center of everything we do.”
Commitment to knowledge-sharing and producer success
Veterinarian Almir da Silva Rocha, a graduate of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), specializes in optimizing flock welfare and performance through effective management. His career highlights include breeder management, where he developed biosecurity programs, health strategies, and training for customer service teams.
“For me, sharing knowledge and working alongside producers is the key to achieving sustainable, consistent results,” Almir says. “That’s the value I aim to bring to Aviagen customers.”

Rodrigo Tedesco, Technical Services Manager for Aviagen in Brazil, explains that these additions are a milestone in Aviagen’s ongoing journey to deepen customer support.
