Exclusive on-farm management events focused on improving poultry welfare and farm results through shared knowledge and collaboration
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® Latin America recently hosted two exclusive Connection Aviagen – In Company events with Globoaves and Grupo Alvorada, reinforcing its commitment to Breeding Success Together with Brazilian poultry producers.
Connection Aviagen – In Company is an extension of the broader Connection Aviagen program, which over the years has delivered valuable management insights to producers across Brazil. While the main program features larger regional events that bring together customers from different companies, In Company editions are smaller and tailored to a single customer. This personalized format allows for deeper engagement and practical solutions tailored to each company’s operational needs.
The first event took place April 22–24 in São Carlos (SP), followed by a second edition April 28–30 in Angatuba (SP). Both programs were carefully designed to address the specific challenges of each farm, with a focus on supporting bird health, welfare, and the performance of Ross® 308 AP breeders and broilers.
Practical learning in the field: Globoaves
The Globoaves event began with visits to selected farms, where the Aviagen team spent time on-site learning from the daily routines and challenges faced by farm managers. These visits allowed them to take a close look at local practices and identify areas where small adjustments could lead to meaningful gains in welfare and sustainability.
On the third day, interactive sessions promoted open discussion and learning. Topics included bird care, flock management and approaches to improving day-to-day operations. Globoaves professionals shared their experience and ideas—creating a valuable space for collaboration and mutual growth.
Strengthening connection with Grupo Alvorada
As with the previous event, the meeting in Angatuba began with visits to selected units of the Grupo Alvorada, where the Aviagen team was able to assess the operation of the farms and identify points for improvement. These visits provided an even deeper understanding of the particularities of the company's management and operational needs.
On April 30, presentations focused on strategies to increase production efficiency and optimize bird welfare. The exchange of best practices between the participants, combined with group dynamics, provided a collaborative environment, which is essential for strengthening relationships.
Commitment to Brazilian poultry farming
According to Marco Aurélio Romagnole de Araújo, Technical Services Manager who supports Aviagen’s work with customers across Brazil, the In Company format offers a meaningful way to connect and grow together.
“These visits and sessions allow us to tailor our support to each customer’s unique reality. It’s an opportunity to build strong relationships, share practical knowledge, and work together to improve outcomes on the farm,” he explained.
Luiz Mansano, Aviagen’s Commercial Manager in Brazil, added:
“These events reflect our continued commitment to Brazilian poultry farming. We’re proud to work side-by-side with our customers—not only with innovative breeding programs but also with a dedicated service team focused on long-term success. That’s what Breeding Success Together is all about.”
